Taste of Uptown Thursday, October 15, 2009
Taste of Uptown is a celebration of the final Live After 5 Concert of the summer! Music will be provided by The Tams! The Tams were formed in Atlanta, GA in 1962. They began playing throughout the country and a string of hits followed. These included “Be Young, Be Foolish, Be Happy”, “I’ve Been Hurt” and “Hey Girl”. Since then, they have released over 15 albums and been honored with one Platinum and two Gold records.
The Thursday night show begins at 5:30 PM and takes place at the Countybank Plaza, 419 Main Street ( MAP IT ), in Uptown Greenwood. The concert is FREE! Uptown restaurants will be on hand offering a Taste of Uptown! Don't forget your lawn chairs!
