Christmas Parade

The 2008 Greenwood Christmas Parade is scheduled for Sunday, December 7 at 2:30 p.m.   This year's theme is "Christmas in Toyland."  This year's Grand Marshal is Dr. Reverend Willie Harrison.  Dr. Harrison is an outstanding citizen, teacher, lecturer, educator, religious leader, and humanitarian.  He served as a Greenwood City Councilman for three separate terms and was pastor of Macedonia Baptist Church for over 30 years.  Dr. Harrison will lead the parade as it begins at the corner of West Cambridge and Montague Avenues and continues south along Main Street to South Main Baptist Church.
